Christmas is nearly here and this is the season when online purchases skyrocket. If you’re planning to purchase gifts online through Amazon.com, this important message is for you!   Your online Christmas shopping can automatically produce support for Foothill Christian School, at no cost to you, and here’s how.

Ever Hear of AmazonSmile?

AmazonSmile is a philanthropic program through Amazon that enables you to easily donate 0.5% of your purchases to the nonprofit of your choice at no cost to you!

It is a simple and automatic way for you to support Foothill Christian School every time you shop. AmazonSmile is the same Amazon you know. Same products, same prices, same service… with the added bonus of donating to our school’s charitable arm, FCS Educational Foundation.

How much money does AmazonSmile donate?

The AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price from your eligible purchases. The purchase price is the amount paid for the item minus any rebates and excluding shipping & handling, gift-wrapping fees, taxes, or service charges.

Let’s Get Started!

STEP 1: Visit smile.amazon.com

STEP 2: Type in FCS Educational Foundation for your charity of choice. Click search then select. It’s that easy!

How does it work?

To support Foothill Christian School, always shop at smile.amazon.com. Remember, only purchases at smile.amazon.com, (not amazon.com or the mobile app,) support charity. Look for the AmazonSmile badge in Your Orders to see which of your orders have supported charity.

You may also want to add a bookmark to make it even easier to return and start your shopping.

What Items are Eligible for Charitable Donations?

Tens of millions of products on AmazonSmile are eligible for donations. You will see eligible products marked “Eligible for AmazonSmile donation” on their product detail pages.
